Last weekend we had the pleasure of taking part in Willingdon Church’s annual “biker blessing” event. It kicked off the year putting out positive energy into the universe regarding motorcycling, and there other bike-related topics such as de-winterization that were discussed at length. As well, there was a detailing seminar to help people get their rides nice and shiny. The rest of the time people poked around, chatted, discussed bike stuff and exchanged stories while soaking up the sunshine that was beating down on us.. hopefully a sign of what’s to come this summer. Because of the small riding area, Matty and Mikey brought their bikes to do a small show.. and after Mikey dislocated his thumb in the beginning of the show, Matty came through and kept every single person there entertained. Well done Matty, and thanks to Willingdon Church for having us.. it was a great time! See you next year..

Vancouver Motorcycle Show Recap
Well.. the show was a resounding success! Mother nature did her best to put a fly in the ointment but nobody would have it. Most of the events went on as scheduled.. we’re not going to lie.. our show was a lot more difficult than riding in sunny, dry weather but we pulled it off and the fans loved it! We signed and handed out every single poster that we brought, and Saturnin’s DVD Throttle Trauma 3 was sold out. For those that asked about where to buy it, as promised, you can get it here: http://www.asphaltjunkiez.com
Our resident photographer Mark Whitehead of http://www.gettheshot.ca came out and took some amazing pics.. I’ll post those up later once he has gone through them all. We were fortunate enough to land the booth area with the highest traffic so there will also be some great pics from not just the show but the event space as well. Lots to look forward to!
Many thanks to Nanette Jacques, Jenny Duncan, Nancy ,Caroline Bray, Bill Hitchon, HollywoodB, Dave Hobley, the Amsoil Girls, and all the others who made this event happen, particularly those people who volunteered their time and were outside in the snow and crappy weather helping prepare our riding area and the track for the other shows.. without you it couldn’t have happened. And of course.. thanks to the fans and event-goers who came out.. in the end it’s all about you guys! Cheers!
I almost forgot.. if you attended and caught any good pictures and/or video footage of us we’d love to see it.. please email all submissions to westcoastfreestyle@hotmail.com

Roster Change!
Well, nothing lasts forever. Change seems to be the only constant and maintaining congruency with 4 people over a long period can be a challenge. At this point Uros Certic has decided to focus his time on his professional stunt career in the film industry. Thanks for all your hard work Uki, we’ll miss you bud.
In his place, we welcome Mike Bolognese. Mike has ridden with Westcoast Freestyle in several
shows, brings with himself a sick bag of tricks, a good attitude, and hard work ethic. We are excited to have you on board and thanks for making the decision of who we should select for the available rider slot an easy one.
